CSSA Netball
The Under 15 and Open Netball teams headed out to Jamison Park Penrith on Monday 5 June to compete in the State gala day. The Under 15 girls had a great day progressing through to the quarter finals where they lost in a tight match. The Open team made it all the way to the Grand final where they were defeated by a red hot Pacific Hills CS team 34-11. A big thankyou to Mrs Land and Miss O’Keefe for coaching the teams and having them so well prepared. A special mention to Grace O and Alica C who have been selected in the CSSA squad to attend the final trial at Pac Hills later in the term.
NSW All Schools Swimming
Beau Matthews and Max Maurer represented CIS and Inaburra at SOPAC last week. Both boys did extremely well at the top level of NSW school sport. Beau walked away with 8 Golds a Silver and a new record in the 50 Butterfly.
CSSA Gymnastics
Congratulations to Chase, Emily, Annabel, Montana and Lotus who competed at CSSA Gymnastics Championships at Rooty Hill last Thursday. All five students performed extremely well across the various apparatuses. Lotus took the overall Gold in Level 6 WAG, Emily finished with a Silver in the Level 10 WAG, and Chase took home a Gold in the Level 9 MAG. Some outstanding results.
Zone Football
Last Thursday and Friday brought on two massive days of Football with our Secondary Football teams competing at the CSSA South Met Zone Gala day at Valentines Sportspark. All four Inaburra teams showed excellent sportsmanship and teamwork over the two days and ended up winning 3 out of the four divisions.

CIS Football Championships
The CIS Football Championships were held early in week 6 at Valentine sportspark. Ashton Simpson, Mateus Lima and Christopher Grujoski played in the Under 16 Boys CSSA team. Bella Raad was a crucial member of the Open Girls CSSA team. From all reports all four students played some wonderful football over the two day tournament.
CSSA Cross Country
On Friday 26 May students from across years 7-12 represented Inaburra at the CSSA State Cross Country Carnival held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Congratulations to the students listed below who have qualified to compete in the CIS Cross Country Carnival this Thursday 8 June back out at the Equestrian Centre.
PSSA State Hockey
Congratulations to Jack M (Year 9) who spent last week in Tamworth representing CIS as an umpire at the Primary Hockey Championships. Jack was given the responsibility of officiating the Boys final. Jack has been selected to umpire at the School Sport Australia National Hockey Championships in Tasmania later in the year.
Snowsports
In 2023 Inaburra will be entering students in the Regional Interschool Snowsports Championships. In 2023 the Sydney Championships will be held from 10 -14 July at Thredbo. Please be aware that it is the responsibility of parents to supervise all aspects of their child’s involvement at the competition and before and after competition each day with accommodation and meals.
