CSSA Cricket Under 15
Inaburra won the toss and elected to bowl against the visiting William Carey CS. Skipper Mitchell Searles and VC Liam Speechley opened the bowling and kept the runs at a minimum. Franklin Yenson came into the attack and took a number of quick wickets. William Carey finished all out for 125. Ethan Stoddart and Mitchell Searles opened the batting and made easy work of the target chasing down the runs without losing a wicket in 13 overs. Ethan starred with 88 not out. The boys will play the final early in 2023.
CSSA Cricket Open
The Open boys cricket team faced off against ICS on Monday 28 November at Barden Ridge Playing Fields. Captain Lachlan Ritchie won the toss and elected to bat. Inaburra set a total of 4/345 declared after 29 overs with Lachlan Ritchie top scoring with 122 not out. Illawarra lost quick wickets to find themselves in trouble at 4-32. A middle order fightback saw them battle to all out for 142. Inaburra will play Pacific Hills CS in the final early in 2023.
Mountain Biking- Interschools
The 2023 Interschools Mountain biking will be held from Sunday 5 March until Friday 10 March in 2023. Please be aware that it is the responsibility of parents to supervise all aspects of their child’s involvement at the competition and before and after competition each day with accommodation and meals.
