Under 15 Boys Football – Bill Turner
On Wednesday, the Under 15 Boys Soccer team played their first match against Shire Christian School at Seymour Shaw. The boys played very well in the first half and scored early on by a great attacking piece from Joel Stocks. Five minutes later, Shire responded with an equaliser shot from outside the penalty area. The scores were locked at 1-1 going into half time. With some changes in formation and an invigoration of some substitutes off the bench, we were able to claw back the win late in the second half with a shot on goal by Mateus Liam in the bottom left corner of the goal. The boys have now progressed to Round 2 with the winners of Menai High and Engadine High schools to play. Well done to all the boys that played. Looking forward to our next match!
