CIS Primary Cross Country Championships
Well done to our 4 students who competed at the CIS Primary Cross Country Championships on Thursday 8 June at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. In the 11 yrs girls Rebecca Wright finished 33rd and Rachael Young 39th, 11 yrs boys Aslan Kadri finished 22nd and 12 yrs girls Brooke Cross finished 30th.
CSSA Primary Girls State Football (Soccer) Finals
On Wednesday 14 June our Senior Girls Football Team headed to Valentine Sports Park to play in the CSSA Primary Girls State Football (Soccer) Finals where they won all their round matches and the semi final, and were runners up to Mamre Anglican School in the final 1-0. Their coach Mrs Fiona Morrison gave them the ‘Miss Congeniality’ award as “they may not have won but they were the favourites of everyone due to their respect, kindness and love of all, they made friends with other teams – so proud”.
NSW Primary All Schools Boys Netball 12 Years & Under Selection Trial
On Friday 16 June, Flynn Taylor-Aughterson (Yr4) attended the 2023 NSW Primary All Schools Boys Netball 12 Years & Under Selection Trial held at Billbergia Sports Centre in Camellia. Over 100 boys from across NSW were trialling to be on the first ever NSW Boys team to attend the National Championships in Perth.
Flynn was one of the youngest boys trailing with most boys in Year 5 or 6 and while he wasn’t selected in the team had a most enjoyable day playing a sport he loves.
