CIS Swimming
Congratulations to our Junior Girls Relay Team who finished 5th in the final – an outstanding result!
Congratulations to Rachael Young who had a very full program with her most outstanding result finishing equal 3rd in the 10 Years Girls Butterfly and had to re-swim the race to see who would make the CIS team and compete at PSSA State Swimming Championships – Rachael was the winner of this swim off!
Rebecca Wright finished 7th in 10 Years Girls Backstroke taking 2 seconds off her previous personal best time.
Andrew Wright finished 6th in 8 Years Boys 50m Freestyle in a personal best time.
Miki French 11 Years 50m Breaststroke unfortunately did not make a final but gave her best effort as always.
Callen Matthews also had a very busy day and he made it to the finals in the 11 Years Boys 50 Freestyle (finished 4th, reserve for PSSA) 50 Breaststroke and 50 Backstroke as well as 3 personal best times.
We wish Rachael and Callen all the best as they head out to Homebush again this weekend for the NSW Junior State Age Championships.
CIS Girls Football Trials
Last week Olivia Issa (Year 6) attended the CIS Primary Girls Football (Soccer) Trials at Mamre Anglican School. She was very strong and impressed selectors being asked to stay for the final round games, but unfortunately did not make it any further. Well done Oliva on giving it your best shot!
Australian Mountain Biking Interschools – Thredbo
Best of luck to Jake Grimison (Year 12), Andrew Marsano (Year 12), Nathan Crace (Year 9), Thomas Peterson (Year 10), Harrison Ceely (Year 6) who are currently competing in the Australian Mountain Biking Interschools at Thredbo.

NSW Water Polo Tournament
Congratulations to Emily Lewis who competed last weekend at the U12 NSW Water Polo Tournament in Orange. Her team, the Gunnamatta Mako Sharks, were the Girl’s division Gold medallists.
