Year 2-6 Swimming Carnival
Blue skies and a hot sunny day – perfect conditions for the 2023 Yr2-6 Junior School Swimming Carnival held at Engadine Leisure Centre on Wednesday 15 February. The atmosphere was full of excitement and fun as students cheered on their friends and house mates, along with plenty of dancing and celebrating outstanding performances. One in particular was Rachael Young smashing the 11 Years Girls 50m Butterfly by over 5 seconds in a time of 36.84, and Rebecca Wright who came second in the same race with a time of 40.15 also breaking the record which had stood for 13 years at 41.91 (held by Renee Druery). Best wishes to our Inaburra Team who will be swimming at the CSSA Primary South Met Zone Swimming Carnival on Monday 27 February at Prairiewood.
K+1 Water Fun Day
While the big kids are away, the little ones will play! Lots of fun water activities for our Kindergarten and Year 1 students at school today.
Thanks to our Senior School student helpers for making the day extra special for our little people.
Interschools Snowsports Championship 2023
In 2023 Inaburra will be entering students in the Regional Interschool Snowsports Championships. In 2023 the Sydney Championships will be held from 10 -14 July at Thredbo. Please be aware that it is the responsibility of parents to supervise all aspects of their son’s/daughters involvement at the competition and before and after competition each day with accommodation and meals.
