CSSA Primary State Biathlon
On Thursday 20 October, students in Years 5 and 6 headed out to the International Regatta Centre at Penrith to compete in the CSSA Primary State Biathlon. The best part of the day was seeing all the smiles as competitors came up out of the water after a 200m swim and into the transition for their 2km run. Our most outstanding result on the day was from Eleanor Wolf who finished 3rd in the Yr5/6 girls individual race, and then combined with Brooke Cross to win gold in the Year 5 girls team event. Congratulations also to our Year 5 boys team Callen Matthews and Christian Bernard who came home with silver medals, and our Year 5 girls team Rachael Young and Veronica Rogers who collected the bronze medals.
