CSSA Primary State Athletics Championships
Twenty six of our Junior School athletes headed to Homebush on Friday 2 September to compete in the CSSA Primary State Athletics Championships. There were some great performances on the day with each child giving their best effort. Congratulations to the following students who have qualified for the CIS Athletics Championships to be held at Homebush on Tuesday 20 September:
Brooke Cross in the Girls 11 1500m (3rd) and 800m (3rd)
Joshua Dick in the Boys 11 Discus (1st)
Harry Roberts in the Boys 11 Long Jump (2nd)
Samantha Stafidas Girl 9 100m (2nd)
Rachael Young in the Girls 8-10 1500m (3rd) and 800m (3rd)
CSSA Primary State Mixed OzTag Gala Day
Both our Junior and Senior OzTag teams headed to Werrington on Tuesday 6 September to play in the CSSA Primary State Mixed OzTag Gala Day. While our teams did note make semi-finals they played well and certainly progressed in skill and knowledge of the game by the end of the day. Thanks to Mrs Agren and Coach Jordyn Dewhurst who managed and coached the teams.
CIS Primary Cricket Trials
Well done to Alana Tripodina who attended the CIS Primary Girls Cricket trials on Wednesday 17 August at The Kings School. Alana was the first girl Inaburra has sent to CIS cricket trials in a very long time so it was wonderful to see her get in and give it her best shot.
We wish Ryan Stoddart, Talis Hardie and Judah Searles all the best as they head out to The Kings School on Monday 12 September to trial for a place in the CIS Primary Boys Cricket team.
