Australian All Schools Swimming Championships

Inaburra have had some incredible results come out of the Australian All Schools Swimming Championships held in Brisbane last week. Beau Matthews (Year 7) brought home a swag of medals, achieving 2 Gold, 4 Silver and 4 Bronze! Beau achieved several PB’s and is now preparing for the Short Course Open Nationals next week.

Kai Taylor (Year 11) had a sensational meet at the Brisbane Aquatic Centre, competing in the 400m Freestyle & 200m Butterfly. Under tough conditions with his events only a few races apart, Kai brought home the medals placing 1st in the 400m Freestyle & 2nd in the 200m Butterfly.

Kai is now an Australian Champion and this is a wonderful reward for all the dedication and effort Kai puts into not only his swimming, but all aspects of his school life.
