CSSA Open State Football
Well done to our open girls football team who played at the CSSA State Gala day last week. The girls played some great team football to advance to the semi final with wins over Coffs Harbour and Dubbo CS. In the semi final the girls fought hard all game but went down 2-1 to Covenant. This year was a very positive time for our female footballers at Inaburra. The girls continue to play with passion and commitment to our school’s name, and as coach, it is a real privilege to be involved with each one of these girls. They are passionate about their football, they have committed to training and preparing for each match, and as a result we have finished with some very pleasing results in 2023.
A big thank you to the parents and carers who have made it possible for each of the girls to get to training sessions, submit our online permission notes and then get the girls to some very early starts for our gala days and competitions. Your commitment and partnership does not go unnoticed.
CIS Secondary Cross Country Championships
Congratulations to the eleven secondary that competed at the CIS Cross Country on Thursday 8 June. Under some tough competitions and competing against some class runners Inaburra students performed extremely well. Congratulations to Amelia Behringer (8th) and Jeiah Low ( 4th) who have been selected in the CIS team to run at NSW All Schools during the break.
