Individual Results
Triathlon Teams 2024
Run2Cure – Neuroblastoma
Over 25 Inaburra staff, students, alumni, parents and friends joined ‘TeamWesley’ at the Run2Cure event Sunday April 7 in The Domain. Competing over various distances the team came away with some fantastic results. Special mention to Mr Langley winning the half marathon in a time of 1:14 minutes. Jesiah Low finished first in the 5k event with Jude Low and Oliver Dalton second and third respectively in the schools challenge. Most importantly the team raised over $4,000 to a great cause.
U15 Boys Football – Bill Turner Cup
The boys faced off against Menai High School at Peakhurst Park in Round 1 of the Bill Turner Cup. Captain Chris Grujoski scored a cracking first goal to get the boys off to a flyer. The boys played some great team football and held possession for large portions of the match. Special mention to keeper Lachlan Redmond who saved a penalty early in the second half. The boys run out comfortable 4-1 winners and will face Caringbah High School in round 2.
U15 Girls Football – Bill Turner Trophy
The girls came up against Woolooware High in round 1 of the Bill Turner Trophy. Playing at Seymour Shaw the team gave it their all against an older opposition side. Zoe Cash scored a good team goal for Inaurra but unfortunately the girls went down 6-1. They will now turn their attention to the CSSA Zone Gala Day in Term 3.
CSSA State Touch Trials
With the unfortunate wash out of the CSSA State Gala Day, seven Inaburra students headed out to the CSSA trials. Travelling to sunny Kelleyville the students played some exceptional touch with 6/7 making the Possibles/ Probables game. Well done to Sienna Spaul, Tara Skelton, Shae Bentley, Hannah Silver, Ben Davidson, Bailey Silver and Joshua Goodhew.
