Snowsports – Regional
The Sydney Interschool Snowsports Championships were held at Thredbo during the recent school holiday period. Inaburra had ten students compete across the various disciplines. Congratulations to Poppy P in Year 7 who took home silver medals in the Snowboard Cross and Snowboard GS. Poppy will be joined by Finn F, Storm R, Dash R, Indiana H & Miri F at State.
Under 15 Boys State Football
The CSSA Under 15 Boys Football finals took place on Wednesday 26 July at Bernie Mullane Sports Complex Kellyville. The boys started the day with an impressive 0-0 draw against Mamre Anglican College. The boys then defeated Illawarra 2-0 and Norwest 4-2. Coming against Green Point in the semi finals the boys took a 3-0 loss. A great experience for a young side that will be back bigger and stronger in 2024.
Under 15 Girls State Football
After taking out the Zone Football Gala day in Term 2, the girls headed out to CSSA State Football on Friday 28 August. The Girls went through the group games with some impressive wins Over Cedars, Nepean and Parkes CS. The girls then defeated Norwest 3-0 in the Semi-Final. Unfortunately they ran out of legs, losing 3-0 in the final. A great day of football.
Zone Athletics
Well done to the 117 Inaburra students that competed at the South Met Zone Athletics Carnival on Thursday July 27 at Campbelltown Athletics Track. Many students recorded season PB’s in some wonderful conditions. Congratulations to the 55 students that have qualified to compete at the CSSA State Carnival later this term.

NSW All Schools Cross Country
Congratulations to Jesiah Low and Amelia Behringer who competed as members of the CIS team during the term 2 break. Both students performed extremely well with Amelia finishing 16th and Jesiah bringing home the Gold. Jesiah has been selected to compete at the National Schools Cross Country in the ACT.
