It is already Week 6 and students are engaged in deep learning in a range of different subjects. In particular both teachers and students are enjoying the challenge of change with the introduction of new syllabuses for Kindergarten to Year 6 in Mathematics and English. Over the coming twelve months new syllabuses in Science, HSIE, PDHPE and Creative and Performing Arts will also be released by NESA. It is going to be a busy time of change for all at Inaburra.
Junior School Assembly
This year we have changed our Junior School assembly time to 1:45pm and the feedback from families has been very positive. We have been trialling different options for how to sign families in and we appreciate your patience. From now on we ask that all visitors to the assembly report to Reception to sign in with a QR code. We will let people walk through the school grounds to the PAC to find a seat from 1:35pm. Please remember to sit towards the back of the PAC to allow room for our students. We ask that you stay home if you are unwell or have any COVID symptoms.
Messages for Students
Please be aware that it is not always possible for us to pass messages on to students after 1:00pm at school as teachers only check emails during break times (recess and lunch) and office staff cannot leave reception or sick bay unattended. Unless you have an urgent message, please contact the school before this time to ensure your message can be delivered.
Kindergarten Get Crafty
Our Kindy students are settling into their new routines with their teachers Miss Everist and Mrs Lothian. They have been creating beautiful artworks to represent nursery rhymes. How many can you guess?
Stage 3 Visual Arts
Stage 3 has been learning about the important role tone plays in our drawings. Below are photos of the Cockatoo class enjoying their lesson. What a fantastic group of creative students!
