School Sport Australia All Schools National Swimming Championships
Beau M (Year 8) competed at the School Sport Australia National All Schools Championships at SOPAC. Beau finished the meet with 10 Golds, 2 Silvers and was awarded Male Multi Class Athlete of the Meet. Beau also recorded a number of PB swims which is incredible given his busy program.
Beau represented himself, Inaburra & NSW to the highest standards.
School Sport Australia All Schools National Cross Country Championships
Jesiah L recently competed at the School Sport Australia National All Schools Cross Country Championships in Canberra. On a tough course Jesiah finished in 5th place completing the course at an average pace of 3.16 per kilometre. Jesiah also won two silver medals as part of the NSW team. As always Jesiah represented his school with distinction.
CSSA State Athletics
Fifty five Inaburra students headed out to Sydney Olympic Park on Thursday 24 August to compete at the CSSA State Athletics carnival. In lovely conditions our athletes put in some outstanding performances. Inaburra will have 14 students competing at CIS later this term. Special mention to Kai T (Year 12) who broke the Under 17 Discus record. Hayden D was also named Under 14 Boys CSSA State Age Champion.
Zone Basketball
Congratulations to the 50 students that represented Inaburra at the Zone Basketball Gala days held at Bankstown Basketball Stadium last week. Competing against 9 schools from across the South Met Zone Inaburra performed extremely well. Three Inaburra teams will turn attention to the CSSA State finals to be held later this term.
