NSWPSSA Primary Boys Softball Championships
Congratulations to Bailey M (Year 6) and Xavier D (Year 4) who represented CIS at the NSWPSSA Primary Boys Softball Championships held in Woolooware from 12-14 September. The boys were valued members of the CIS team scoring runs and making catches to help their team finish 7th overall.
CIS Primary Athletics Championships
On Tuesday 19 September Brooke C, Joshua D, Rachael Y (Year 6) and Bodhi P (Year 2) competed at the CIS Athletics Championships. Congratulations to all four athletes and we wish Bodhi all the best as he competes in the multi-class division in the 100m, 200m, Shot Put and Discus at the NSWPSSA State Athletics Championships next week at Homebush.
NSWPSSA Primary Girls Softball Championships
A fantastic effort by Matilda M (Year 4) who represented CIS at the NSW PSSA Primary Girls Softball Championships held near Newcastle on 19-21 September – the CIS girls came away with a great result finishing 5th overall – well done Matilda!
Jump Rope for Heart – thank you!
A massive thank you to our Junior School students and their families and friends for raising a whopping $13,832.67 for the Heart Foundation. Thank you prizes have arrived and have been distributed to students. It was so wonderful to see so many students learn to skip, improve in skill and increase fitness over the four week program and great to see students still skipping in the playground!
