Inaburra is a brilliant place. The teachers and support staff genuinely care for students, both in their academic pursuits, and their character development. I believe that all teachers at Inaburra are here not because it is their job, but rather their calling. Being able to share my life and spiritual journey everyday with my students is a privilege.
Work with us
Inaburra is an Independent, K-12 co-educational Christian school in the Sutherland Shire, increasingly recognised amongst independent schools as a centre for innovation and creativity in education. At Inaburra, we seek to employ committed Christians who are passionate about ensuring that every individual is known and loved. Standing upon our Christian foundation and in partnership with our families, Inaburra seeks to shape life-long learners.
Why Inaburra?
Mr Andrew Eisenhauer
Year 6 Teacher
Mr Dominic Cheung
K-12 Chaplain
Inaburra strikes me as a school that cares about its students holistically from Christian convictions. From what I’ve seen, it is a community that prioritises the character of the student, their wellbeing and seeks to engage the whole person (body, mind, spirit) in their formation and education.
Mr David Humphreys
Music Teacher
The Music department at Inaburra is a particularly special place. For many years I have been intrigued about the large number of students involved in the band programs and the exceptional quality of sound that is produced. Having been an audience member at various performance evenings, I’m excited at the opportunity to work alongside the wonderful tutors and students as part of this learning community.
Mrs Helen Bull
TAS Teacher
I am delighted to work in a school that values the development of our students academically, socially, and spiritually. God has provided Inaburra with outstanding facilities as well as talented, dedicated and caring teachers. A bonus for me is that my commute is also significantly shorter.
Mrs Gemma Young
Creative Arts Teacher
I love the community here at Inaburra; the culture among staff and students is so unique, and it’s a privilege to be a part of it! Additionally, we are very blessed to have such wonderful creative arts facilities. As someone who is passionate about the arts, it’s fantastic to work in such a space with the resources we have!
Mrs Zoe Ho
English Teacher
At Inaburra, I think it is wonderful that knowledge, faith and love are valued and actively sought. I really admire Inaburra’s focus on loving each individual student, whilst also having an important emphasis on community. It is a blessing and privilege to work at a school whose central aim is to have a God-centred community.

Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney program
Inaburra is a proud member school of the Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney (TSAS) program. TSAS is a unique approach to teacher formation. Modelled on the highly successful Clinical Teaching Model, this unique pathway provides practical teacher training that inducts a trainee into the art and craft of teaching, embedded within the values and ethos of the Teaching Schools Alliance Sydney schools.
2024 Inaburra trainee Jenna reflects on the program, “The Teaching Schools Alliance program provides a unique experience which contributes to the holistic training and development of pre-service teachers. A key aspect I appreciate and value that contributes to this is the community that surrounds this program. I have experienced this sense of community in multiple ways within the program. This has been through my placement in a school community, the student community I study alongside and most importantly my fellow trainees. This multi-layered sense of community motivates me in my studies and training and also provides me with support in achieving my goals in becoming a teacher.”
