As a Christian school, Inaburra is committed to service-learning, acknowledging that some of the most profoundly formative experiences that young people encounter arise in the context of the service of others. The Global Education program is one manifestation of this commitment.

The Global Education experience operates primarily in Year 10. Students nominate one of three service-learning experiences; a trip to Vietnam/Cambodia in which they volunteer in an orphanage, build housing with the Tabitha Foundation and engage with a range of cross-cultural activities; a trip to rural or remote Australia in which the students participate in community service with indigenous Australians; or a range of service-learning activities in and around the Sydney region, including bushland regeneration, hospitality to refugees, visits to a juvenile justice centre and a range of community organisations.

Inaburra is also forming reciprocal partnerships and relationships with overseas schools and organisations. Our partners include:

  • Fruits of Hope Academy, Kigali, Rwanda
  • The Katoke Trust, Tanzania
  • The Bush Church Aid Society
  • The Tabitha Foundation
  • Christian Surfers, Bali
